A firm believer in the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich created the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 60s. The goal was to design a figurine that would serve as an incessant reminder of the importance of staying positive and optimistic. Because, although the 60s are often called “the happy 60s”, this decade was marked by disturbing events. Therefore, the joy that Ehrenreich's design spread was welcome in a rather turbulent time. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists the designer created: A girl in a dress with smiling eyes and an attentive boy with a stick on his head. Today, the happy Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and create joy all over the world. The figurines are available in four different sizes and in a wide selection of colours that spread optimism, good humour and joy. There is a Hoptimist for every occasion and every person.

For smaller and light items we send via Royal Mail 24 or 48 Tracked. Cost from £3.69
For cards and other thin items we send Royal Mail Large Letter (1st or 2nd class). Cost from £1.65. We can also send tracked - select at checkout
For larger or multiple items such as 750ml or 2.5L Frenchic Paint we use DPD Next Day service. This is a flat fee of £5.35 up to 20kg weight. (Royal Mail will not carry tins larger than 500ml)
