For Pick Up service orders, shop opening hours are:
9am until 5:30pm Mon to Sat in Newbury or 10am until 4pm on Sundays
FREE UK DELIVERY when you spend over £75 (excluding furniture)
Please allow 24hours for items to be picked, packed and a collection (if required) to be arranged.
Items may be located in different stores. We try to combine where possible, but you may be charged separately.
Tracking references (where relevant) will be provided on the order, and are included in our email notifications.
Free delivery: NOTE: we will use the default cheapest shipping options, i.e. RM48 tracked for smaller items or DPD Next (working) Day for heavier items or paint.
Shipping Frenchic Paint
Please Note: Royal Mail only allow up to 500ml tins to be shipped with them. Anything more than 500ml or multiple tins have to go with DPD. We have to comply with their strict policies too in terms of packaging. We keep the costs to an absolute minimum. DPD shipping is Next (working) Day and Royal Mail is 48 Tracked. Whilst DPD often deliver on Saturdays (even Sundays sometimes) it is not standard. They do not collect from us over the weekend.
For some regions of UK we use Yodel, because the DPD service is either not available or is cost prohibitive. Typically for Northern Ireland and Highlands and Islands of Scotland. This is 2-4 working days service.
So a quick guide:
1-2 x 250ml tins - Royal Mail 48 Tracked
1 x 500ml tin/bottle - Royal Mail 48 Tracked
1 x 750ml tin - DPD Next Day or Yodel
2 x 500ml tins - DPD Next Day or Yodel
1 x 2.5l tin - DPD Next Day Or APC
Multiple tins - same flat rate DPD Next Day or Yodel
Small Parcels (under 3KG)
Royal Mail 48 or 24 Tracked (note: these are RM service names not delivery times) Allow 2-3 days for RM 48 Tracked and 1-2 days for RM24 Tracked - (from shipment notification) not guaranteed.
All of the smaller products by default will be posted and costs are calculated by weight. We use Royal Mail for shipping small parcels (less than 3kg). You can of course select a quicker option if required.
Parcels (over 3KG up to 20KG)
DPD Next (working) Day. (Note: 'Next Day' is the name of the service)
Our courier service will contact you via email or SMS with specific delivery details and tracking information.
Next working day delivery applies to orders received and processed before 2pm and will be sent next working day. If order is placed after 2pm on a Friday it will be shipped the following Monday as our courier service doesn't collect at weekend.
This is a Next (working) Day service with a single flat rate for multiple items up to 20kg. DPD splits UK into 4 zones, each has a different rate. There are different rates for England & Wales separate from parts of Scotland, e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands which have a different rate & Northern Ireland as defined by the courier and are often 2 day shipping not next day.
If you order before 2pm and the items are available in our warehouse it will be delivered the next working day. If ordering on a Thursday evening or Friday before 2pm, expect delivery on Monday. Whilst DPD often delivery on Saturdays (even Sundays occasionally) it is not standard.
We keep the shipping costs to an absolute minimum and only charge for the actual delivery at cost.
Large Letters (up to 250g)
For thinner items such as greetings cards, some scarves or jewellery we send via Large Letter. We offer untracked RM48 or RM24 LL or same as a tracked service by Royal Mail, please select as appropriate at checkout.
Shipments to Northern Ireland
This is currently done via Yodel and is a flat fee for up to 10kg. This service is typically is 3-5 working days.
We are currently unable to ship to the Channel Islands, Europe or Globally.
Furniture & Mirrors
Furniture items can be collected from our shop in Newbury.
We can also deliver locally (within 30 miles), there will be a small charge and is calculated at checkout. If no shipping available, please ask for a quote.
