Washing Bone China

To keep the bone china looking its best we recommend that it is washed as soon as possible after use. Gentle hand washing without using abrasive scourers is the best way to keep it looking pristine.

Washing in Dishwashers

All of Welsh Connections products are suitable for use in the dishwasher and microwave.

To prolong the life of your product, please follow these guidelines.

Fine bone china products should not touch each other as it may cause scratching or cracking due to vibration. Do not overload the dishwasher. Use a delicate cycle. Maximum temperature advised is 60ºC (140ºF). Use mild and gentle detergents. Make sure there is a rinse cycle to wash away any detergent film.

Please be aware that, over time, the glaze and ceramic colours on bone china may deteriorate. Dishwasher use will speed up the fading process and will dull the glaze.
