We would be very happy to take on your project.

We would also be happy to source a piece for you and paint to your spec. Please have a browse of our unpainted furniture collection using the picture link above.

If you find something you like feel free to arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements, colour schemes, etc. Either using the form below or contacting us via phone or email.

We stock the complete range of Frenchic paint colours, wax, stencils and other products.

We pride ourselves in the quality of the finish, this is very important for us. On larger items or chairs we often spray paint them which provides a smoother finish. The final finish can be clear wax or Frenchic Finishing coat which provides a harder wearing finish particularly useful for chairs tables and children's furniture. With a waxed finish we can also incorporate 'Browning' wax giving the piece an 'antiqued' look, 'Defining' wax to embellish the details or 'White' wax for the light 'washed' finish. Finally, particular details or metal fixtures can be finished with Frensheen which provides a lovely metallic finish in Gold, Silver, Copper, Bronze or Green. Stencilling could also be incorporated, and we carry a large range of different stencils.

If required, we also carry out repairs and also focus on the wood itself, so if your piece is made of solid wood, e.g. oak, elm, mahogany, etc. perhaps a natural finish would be something to aim for instead of a painted finish. The wooden surface is carefully sanded to reveal the wonderful natural grain and oiled or waxed to finish according to your needs.

We would be very pleased to discuss your particular colour schemes and advise on what would work best for the individual furniture pieces. Please complete the form below if you are interested in getting a quote for your furniture pieces.

Painted in Frenchic 'Sugar Puff' and waxed. The top has been carefully sanded back removing the old shellac varnish to the reveal the splendid natural oak colour. Danish oil was applied to seal and for protection, finished with clear wax and buffed to a sheen. The original handles were removed, cleaned and polished. We very lightly distressed (sanded back) in areas on the details to accentuate them.

We decided to keep this transformation simple, and retaining its already elegant look. Painting the main body and cupboard in Frenchic 'Ivory Tower', but leaving the top, cupboard back and handles as natural pine, although these were sanded back removing the old wax and resealed with Danish oil and finished with clear wax and buffed. Giving the piece a 'Shaker' style.
